David Boren has been living and working in the Round Rock area since 1993.  He was ordained as a Deacon for the Catholic Diocese of Austin in 2003 and has been involved in various ministries throughout the years.  His current assignment is St. William Catholic Church, in Round Rock.  David joined the Round Rock Police Department chaplain unit in August 2017 and enjoys every contact with the department.  David has been married to Beth Boren for forty-eight years and has three children and thirteen grandchildren – all keep him active.  David also serves on an IMT that responds to Williamson County Emergency Management when his amateur radio skills are requested to augment the county’s communication efforts.  His position on the IMT is that of a FEMA trained Public Information Officer (PIO).  His hobbies are travelling, golf, music, swimming, and range time.  Professionally, David is part of Chisholm Trail Financial group, here in Round Rock, where he is the Vice President for Financial Planning and is a Certified Financial Planning Profession®.  David is a ten-year veteran of the United States Air Force.
