Rich Calzada

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I am the proud father of two adult children and grandfather to five beautiful grandkids. I was honorably retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office as a Detective with Operation Safe Streets, the Department’s Gang Unit.  During my time as a Detective, I received a commendation for solving a gang related murder. After my retirement from the Sheriff’s Department, I started a private investigation firm specializing in pre-employment background investigations for law enforcement agencies in the San Jose, California area.  My firm grew over 10 years to include 13 investigators with an admin staff of three.  I then sold the business and retired once again. I moved to Round Rock in 2015 to marry my wife, Jeanna Calzada. In 2016 I started a career as a real estate agent. I have had the pleasure of helping many folks find homes in Round Rock and the surrounding cities. I currently hold the position as the Sales and Leasing Manager for the Williamson County branch of JB Goodwin Realtors. In my spare time, I volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Williamson County Association of Realtors, Community First Village and have donated to Backpack Friends, Austin Rodeo BBQ cookoff and various other non-profits. I have come to love the City of Round Rock and am looking forward to my involvement with the Round Rock Police Foundation.
